Originally from the UK, Andy moved to Jersey in 2000 and began his career in hospitality, working within hotels. Alongside this, he nurtured a lifelong interest in health, fitness, and sport, qualifying as a Personal Trainer in 2003. This marked a career shift into Leisure Management, where he went on to manage some of Jersey’s leading facilities, including the Merton Aquadome, the Spa at Hotel de France, and the Spa at the Grand Hotel. These roles allowed Andy to combine the high standards of service expected in premium hospitality with his Personal Training and coaching expertise.

In 2012, Andy purchased the local business Sports Bug, which delivered sports coaching to children aged 2–12 through term-time programmes and holiday clubs. At the same time, he launched Metafit Jersey, offering high-intensity interval training sessions for adults.

Andy believes his diverse career, spanning hospitality, fitness, and business ownership. This provides him with both a high standard of client service and a deep understanding of the operational skills required to run successful ventures.
